I discovered your work in 2022, the year after I came out as trans, and especially Girls and the two movies you put out that year really helped me to feel in touch with my femininity. This was wonderful to read 🤎🤎🤎
I just need to comment on a read from last month. Yesterday I finished, "Damage", by Josephine Hart (a reread for me I read it in the 90's so it was pretty new again). And I TOTALLY loved it. Lena's description of it was perfectly intriguing and from there I was sucked in. I do think the first 50 pages are kinda slow but if you have any kind of ADHD you will appreciate the super short chapter size and that's what motivated me to stick with it. The last 70 pages are a thrill ride. And for this authors's first novel that comes in at just under 200 pages it is an awesome work of the literary form: novel. I love novels whose title's are constantly driven home throughout the work and, "Damage", does just that: playfully, in naughty ways, emotionally, in sexually security, financially, I could go on and on. A BIG THANK YOU LENA FOR THIS LITTLE GEM! I hope all you guys readers it too! Love, H.D.
Thank you so much for sharing, would love to go through the book recommendations. I just discovered you through watching Girls, and I'm sure you have heard this a lot, but it really changed my life and my understanding of my own femininity. Thank you for changing my life. <3

Have you heard of Camila Sosa Villada? She’s an amazing Argentinian trans writer.
This is so beautiful
